about us

Our Motto: A Great Commitment…and the Great Commandment will grow a great church! Our Purpose:  To go and bring people to Jesus and membership in His family, develop them to Christ-like maturity, and equip them for their ministry in the church and life’s mission in the world in order to magnify God’s amazing grace and name.

Our Values:

Worship “Love the Lord with all your heart”  We’ve been blessed by a generous loving God. Our worship is an exciting and relevant expression of our love and gratitude.

Worship at Amazing Grace blends the hymns and traditions of the past with fresh offerings of today's Christians. As the worship gears up every Sunday you never really know what you are in for. Sometimes it's a little bit country and sometimes it's a little bit rock and roll. But always, the music is focused on lifting praises to Jesus and bringing folks into the presence of God. Our praise and worship team complete with band and praise singers lead weekly. Our ministers, Dr. T. Ron Sams and Todd Marrah, alternate weeks presenting the Gospel message in a meaningful way.

Discipleship “Teaching them to obey” God loves us just as we are, but He wants us to grow up. We challenge one another to be growing in our knowledge of God’s Word and in our understanding and application of Jesus’ teachings to modern life.

We offer many opportunities for discipleship and Spiritual Growth. Our Men's Bible Study meets every Monday.  Our Ladies Group meet throughout the year every other Thursday for Bible Study and fellowship. We offer a co-ed multi-generational study every Wednesday evening. We also offer opportunities for study on Sunday morning during our Sunday Hour.

Evangelism “Go and make disciples” and  Mission  “Baptizing those we disciple” We love this place, this crowd, and this moment in time. But it’s not enough to keep the great truths of our faith to ourselves. We have accepted the commission to go out and tell everyone who will listen, both here in our hometown and around the globe, that this grace is for them too. Everyone is invited in...everyone is welcome.

We are serious about evangelism. We support Southwest India Mission, Northwest Haiti Christian Mission, Waves of Mercy Mission-Haiti, and Cincinnati Christian University through our monthly budget. We know our missionaries on a first name basis and count them as part of our family.  We have sent adults and children from AGCC to work in Haiti with Northwest Haiti Christian Mission and Waves of Mercy. Yearly we send teens to TEENSERVE, a mission organization empowering teens to minister to folks in need. Over the last five years our teens have worked on people's homes in Missouri, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Tennessee. Our Red Hat Ladies are involved in the community and work with Buckeye Children's Ranch.

Ministry “Love your neighbor as yourself” Imagine thousands of Christ-followers living and worshiping in a community and making a real difference in the lives of the hurting and under-served in their neighborhoods. We encourage our members to live Christ outside of AGCC. In fact, when there is a need, our members come to the rescue--we take up benevolence offerings and participate in monthly food drives for our local food pantry.

Who are you when you think no one is looking? We challenge our youth and adults to live their testimony at work and at play. We offer many programs at AGCC to bring in the community in a non-threatening way. Once people step on the property the feeling of belonging is contagious.
